As part of our sponsorship in this passion-fuelled event, we will be undertaking Europe’s largest ever study of football fans – which we call
Sharp FanLabs. Our focus will be on measuring, analysing and comparing the passion levels of football fans from across Europe, both in the lead up to and during the tournament. We aim to reach a wide variety of conclusions, from which country is the most committed and confident, to who is Europe’s most passionate fan.
Starting soon, our fully equipped FanLabs trucks will set off on a journey around Europe screening matches and gathering biometric data from football fans. Then during UEFA EURO 2012™ , our trucks will also be on the ground in Poland and Ukraine to measure live fluctuations in passion levels throughout the tournament. Thousands more will also be able to take part online and by downloading our FanLabs mobile app, which will constantly monitor various passion levels of fans, such as confidence, excitement and knowledge.
